Romania Musical Fountain Project: Two Custom Fountain Systems Successfully Installed
- 2026-10-20
Our latest Romania musical fountain project has been completed. Two sets of custom fountain equipment designed and manufactured by Changsha Himalaya Music Fountain were shipped to Romania, installed by the client’s own team, and commissioned successfully. The customer handled all on-site work independently, while our engineers provided remote installation support online and resolved each technical question as it arose — from equipment positioning right through to final spray adjustment.
Project Overview: Two Pools, Two Separate Designs
The installation covers two independent fountain pools — one long and linear, the other arc-shaped. Because their structures, spans and landscape requirements differed, nozzle types, equipment quantities and mounting positions were planned separately for each pool at the design stage.
Stepped Cascading Fountain pool
The main body of the cascading pool measures approximately 20.6 metres. Continuous water-feature units run along the centre line, spaced roughly 2.8 metres apart.
At the end of the pool, 28 sets of DN40 cascade jet were installed with a designed spray height of 0.8–1.8 metres. In operation the water spreads outwards and builds a layered, cedar-like shape. The height is moderate and the water body is full, which suits the cascading pool well and delivers a tidy, continuous outdoor water feature effect along the entire run.
Curve Pool with Dandelion jet, Geyser and Mist
The curve pool spans about 17.36 metres and combines four water patterns.
Three DN50 dandelion nozzles sit on one side, with a designed spray height of 1–4 metres. Water is distributed evenly from the centre of each nozzle to form a clean spherical water curtain. Dandelion nozzles place genuine demands on water pressure and machining accuracy, so nozzle spacing and mounting positions were calculated in advance to stop the spray patterns from overlapping or blocking one another.
The opposite side carries vertical jets , geyser jets and mist spray units. The vertical jets run alongside the geysers, while the fine mist softens the outline and gives the whole pool real visual depth.
Independent Pumps and Stainless Steel Build
Every nozzle in both fountains has its own dedicated pump, and each nozzle group can be switched and controlled independently. That makes it simple to vary the water show for different occasions, and it also simplifies servicing — a single group can be isolated without shutting down the entire system.
All nozzles and the main water-contact metal parts are manufactured from stainless steel, giving strong corrosion resistance and dependable long-term performance in Romania’s outdoor climate, including freeze–thaw winters.
Why Pre-Shipment Preparation Mattered
Because the client installed the fountains themselves, production accuracy and pre-installation preparation were critical. Before shipment, Changsha Himalaya Musical Fountain Equipment Co., Ltd. verified:
- nozzle thread sizes and connection interfaces
- pipework dimensions and layout
- pump specifications and electrical configuration
- exact mounting coordinates for every unit
Complete installation drawings, wiring diagrams and technical documents were supplied with the equipment, so the site team in Romania could build strictly to drawing without guesswork.
Remote Installation and Commissioning Support
Throughout the build the client stayed in contact with our technicians online. For questions on equipment positioning, pipe connection, pump wiring and spray testing, our engineers reviewed site photos, videos and live running footage, then issued step-by-step instructions. They also guided the client through fine-tuning nozzle angles and spray heights until every group of water patterns matched the original design.
With solid cooperation on both sides, the two fountains were installed and commissioned on schedule. This Romania musical fountain case adds a further European project to our reference list and has deepened our experience in overseas equipment supply, client self-installation and remote commissioning — experience that feeds directly into future export projects across Europe.
FAQ — Romania Musical Fountain Projects
Can a musical fountain in Romania be installed without your engineers on site?
Yes. This project was installed entirely by the client’s own team using our drawings plus free online guidance. Remote commissioning is available worldwide.
How long does delivery to Romania take?
Production typically runs 20–35 days depending on scale, followed by sea freight to Constanța or any European port you prefer.
Which nozzles suit an outdoor fountain in the Romanian climate?
Stainless steel geyser, dandelion, jet and mist nozzles all perform well. This project used DN40 geyser and DN50 dandelion nozzles.
Do you supply fountains to other European countries?
Yes — we export fountain equipment throughout Europe, the Middle East, Southeast Asia and Africa.
