Musical Dancing Fountain Project in Zimbabwe Africa

Musical dancing fountain, as a typical art performance of water, music and lighting, has been growing more and more popular worldwide. In pursuit of innovated dancing fountain design and advanced fountain technology, Himalaya Music Fountain keeps developing and exploring the most optimized solution and thoughtful service for fountain projects in the global market since its establishment in 2008. Africa is a promising area for dancing fountain construction, full of challenges as well as chances, Himalaya Music Fountain was honored to build a large musical dancing fountain project in Zimbabwe in the year of 2024, we are pleased to share the general information about this music fountain of 80 meters by 15 meters.
Water Shapes Designed in The Fountain Project
Central High Fountain: set up in the centre of the whole fountain show, is the highest water jet of the dancing fountain. In this 80m pool fountain project, we used a DN80 comet nozzle and equipped with a 15KW submersible fountain pump, which can spray up to a height of 30 meters maximum.
Sub-high Fountain: easy to tell from the name of this water shape, as the second-high water jet of the fountain show, the sub-high fountains is like a guard of the central fountain. Equipped with a 7.5KW fountain pump, each fountain can spray up to 25m high.
Rainbow Fountain: usually set up at the two ends of the whole fountain, using the adjustable comet nozzles to form a arc shape through jetting from the two ends to the centre, which is just like a rainbow hanging in the air shinning under the colorful lighting of the fountain.
Digital Water Fountain: there are various types of digital water fountains, in this project in Zimbabwe, we used the most classical one, the 1-axis digital swing fountain, also called as 2D digital water fountain. Which is the same kind as the equipment used in Dubai Fountain.
Fog Fountain: artificial fog fountain, also named as mist fountain, aiming to create a romantic or mystery scene during a fountain water show, especially combined with a story-telling water show, which can reach an effect like being in a fairy land.
Key Fountain Equipment Applied in The Zimbabwe Dancing Fountain
In this fountain with size of 80×15 meters, there are total 271 fountain nozzles, 37 fountain pumps, 246 DMX LED lights and a full set of Himalaya Fountain self-developed control panels being applied. All of the fountain products are manufactured by Himalaya Music Fountain company ltd, complied with national and international quality standards, having been used in more than 100 fountain projects all around the world, being highly praised by the customers for the high quality and performance.
General Introduction of The Fountain Design
This fountain is designed for a rectangular water pool in Harare of Zimbabwe, with a length of 80 meters and width of 15 meters, the whole shape is like a big eye, being blinking in the night of the city. Circle-shape fountain and arc-shape linear fountain are chose in this fountain design, perfectly presented the elegance and magnificent of the fountain show in shape and performance, DMX-control LED lights are equipped for this fountain project, which can maximum achieve the synchronization of water, music and lighting in the show.
Fountain Installation Process
As the fountain designer, equipment provider and prime contractor of this fountain project in Zimbabwe, Himalaya Music Fountain dispatched 3 engineers from China to Harare in November 2024 for the installation guidance. All the mechanical parts were successfully assembled and installed within 20 days’ time, the professionalism and efficiency of the Himalaya Fountain installation team was approved and highly spoke of by the client. The commissioning is being suspended due to the lack of water, let’s look forward to the final effect after the project completed.
